West Herts & Watford Lawn Tennis Club - Membership
Thank you for enquiring about membership of West Herts Tennis Club. We are always delighted to hear from anyone who is interested in joining the club and are very keen to attract new members. Introduction
1. West Herts is a very friendly and social club situated in Central Watford.
2. We offer a wide range of facilities to players of all ages and cater for every level of player from complete beginners to county level players and beyond.
3. We employ two coaches to run the club and its coaching programme.
4. We run organised club evenings on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. onwards. Also a club morning is organised on Saturdays from 10.30 a.m. until noon. We offer a full coaching programme, and encourage you to have a few ‘Rusty Rackets’ sessions if you would like to brush up your game, adult coaching sessions (groups and individuals) and a comprehensive Junior coaching programme.
5. We have a full programme social events including regular club barbeques, parties and we are hoping to bring everyone together next year for a Gala dinner/Ball.
6. We also participate in a full list of friendly and league matches at all levels and for all standards, for both Senior and Junior players.
We have full membership and use of a professionally run bar and clubhouse at the Main Sports Club situated in the grounds.

There are no court fees to pay and members can book courts when available.
Floodlights: Courts 1 – 4 have floodlights which can be used up to 10 o clock each evening. The Floodlights are operated by card machines. Each card costs £4 - £30 for 10 and are available from Mr. Peter Moore. They will give one hour per card of floodlit play ensuring that our members have access to courts all year round, winter or summer and provide a perfect way to relax after work or school.

From 1st May 2010 until 31st April 2011 we are offering pro rata subscriptions! Membership runs from 1 May each year and fees are shown on our application form. Please print off the application form and send with cheque made payable to West Herts LTC to the address shown on the form. membership application form 2010.doc along with full details of pro rata fees.
